Purushotham Francis Burgula,
I was born and raised in India. I received Jesus Christ as my personal savior during my college years and since then I was actively involved in campus ministry in India. I went to Union Biblical Seminary, Pune, India and completed my Bachelor of Divinity and served as an evangelist and Bible teacher among University Students (UESI) for the next ten years in south India. I came to the United States in the year 2000 and did my MA and Ph D in Christian Education at Talbot School of Theology, CA. While a full time student I also worked as a youth pastor for five years and was ordained for pastoral ministry in the year 2005.
As the pastor of the church, I preach the word of God on a regular basis and also provide leadership for various ministries and I am also part of several committees/ leadership teams within the church. I write a few articles to encourage the members in their spiritual journey and I enjoy spending time with individuals and small groups. My passion is to understand the journey of life so that I could not only live the abundant life promised by Jesus Christ, but also help others to enjoy the gift of life. I enjoy several sports, traveling, music, preaching and most of all the company of friends who make this journey very exciting and meaningful.

EXPERIENCE:
Served as a staff with UESI for more than ten years, worked as a teaching and research assistant at Talbot School of Theology from 2001 to 2005. He served as a youth pastor for five years in Anaheim before joining Grace Haven as a full time Pastor in August, 2005.
